1. Order processing and dispatch
As most of our products are made to order, framed to order, or otherwise specially prepared for each purchase, orders are not usually shipped immediately after checkout.
We generally aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days after order confirmation, unless a different timeline is stated on the product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation.
Dispatch times are estimates only and may vary depending on:
- product type and size;
- framing or customization requirements;
- payment verification;
- shipping destination;
- public holidays, peak sale periods, or operational constraints.
2. Delivery timelines
Estimated delivery timelines will vary by destination country, product type, carrier availability, customs clearance, and other external factors.
Any delivery dates or timeframes shown on our website, at checkout, or in order communications are estimates only unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
For international orders, delivery may take longer due to:
- customs inspections or clearance delays;
- remote-location servicing limitations;
- adverse weather, transport disruptions, or carrier backlogs;
- local import compliance requirements.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, border controls, carrier disruptions, force majeure events, or incorrect customer information.
3. Delivery restrictions
We may not ship to all countries, territories, islands, military zones, forwarding depots, or remote regions.
Any shipping restrictions applicable to your order should be indicated at checkout or communicated to you before dispatch. If we are unable to fulfil delivery to your location after an order is placed, we will contact you and, if necessary, cancel and refund the affected order.
4. Shipping charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions subject to minimum order values, eligible destinations, or other stated conditions. Such promotions may be modified or withdrawn for future orders at any time.
5. Customs duties, import taxes, and local charges
For international orders, customs duties, VAT, GST, sales tax, import fees, brokerage charges, or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping charge.
You are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can be lawfully imported into the destination country and for complying with local laws, customs requirements, and import procedures.
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because import duties, taxes, or customs-related charges are not paid, we may deduct any return shipping, storage, customs, carrier, or handling costs from any refund, where permitted by applicable law.
6. Order tracking
Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking details after your order has been dispatched.
Please note that:
- tracking updates depend on the carrier and destination;
- tracking visibility may be limited in some countries or regions;
- final-mile updates may not always be real-time.
7. Packaging
We take reasonable care to package orders securely for transit. Packaging methods may vary depending on the product, size, destination, and carrier requirements.
Where applicable, artworks may be shipped with protective packaging designed to reduce the risk of transit damage.
8. Ready-to-hang items
Where stated on the product page, artworks are delivered ready to hang except for the unframed/rolled art/print only options.
Hardware type and installation suitability may vary depending on wall type, local installation conditions, and product size. Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation is appropriate and safe for their specific wall surface and environment.
9. Delivery address and failed delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by:
- incorrect or incomplete addresses;
- failure to receive the parcel after delivery attempts;
- failure to collect the parcel from a pickup point;
- refusal to accept delivery;
- failure to pay duties, taxes, or customs-related charges.
If an order is returned to us for any of the reasons above, we may charge reasonable re-delivery, return freight, storage, or handling costs where permitted by applicable law.
10. Damaged, lost, or incorrect deliveries
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, is missing, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us promptly at contact-us@travelarty.com with:
- your order number;
- a description of the issue; and
- clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label, where applicable.
We will review the issue and work with you in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
11. Risk and title
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided in your order.
Ownership of the goods passes only after full payment has been received.
12. Multiple shipments
Where necessary, we may ship items in separate packages or on different dates, for example due to product size, framing requirements, stock location, or carrier limitations.
13. Delays outside our control
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs delays, natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, war, civil unrest, transport disruptions, carrier failures, pandemics, governmental action, or supply chain interruptions.
Where such delays materially affect your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
14. Consumer rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits or excludes any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, we will provide delivery information in accordance with applicable distance-selling requirements, and any agreed delivery timelines will be subject to your mandatory statutory rights. EU rules require traders to provide clear information about delivery arrangements and any delivery restrictions before the contract is concluded, and UK guidance states that goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless another delivery period is agreed.
